Typing vs Writing
Feb. 9th, 2019 02:17 pmWriting is a weird and fun way to pass the time. After struggling to get threw a few chapters, the last couple I've been writing with ease. So far, they have been averaging about 2k+ plus words per chapter.
I think I found a way to combat writers block for myself. A lot of the times when I find myself stuck I choose my notebook over typing on my computer. I think this allows me to physically cross out words and reshape sentences letting myself know this is definitely not something I like and can choose differently. When I get on a writing flow, however, I tend to not stop, and thus the typing is the best way to continuously write.
I've written almost 17k in mend with currently 9 completed chapters (for now), and holy hell I am proud of myself.
This story I think is easier to piece together since I already know the voices of Steve and Bucky that I have wrote and can just continue. Carol and Scott are the funnest characters to write and I'm so happy I chose to continue the story instead of finishing it with FUYKB.
I'm sad to end the series after Mend, but more AUs call and I can't wait to write new storylines.
